My name is Andrei and I am a digital designer with over ten years of progressive experience in graphic design, full color print production and interactive web development. I like to apply my creative and technical skills in as broad range as possible and enjoy being challenged.
I love the creative process and can effectively work with type, color and space in both a web and print setting while also having an intimate knowledge of the underlying applications, processes and code bases present in today's technology. I am well versed and up to date in best practices using markup languages such as HTML5 and CSS3 with experience using libraries such as jQuery and server side platform such as PHP. I am also proficient in Adobe's Creative Suite, video and music editing and online video publishing platform Brightcove, including BEML - Brightcove Experience Markup Language.
For the past ten years I have been working with exciting brands and sites that really exploit my cross browser front end design as well as developing functionality. There is also a strong emphasis on code portability, scalability and flexible design standards that I employ and improve upon everyday. I also engage in both freelance web design as well as volunteer projects where available.
I have attended American Intercontinental University Visual Communications program with a concentration in Digital Design and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree graduating Summa Cum Laude in July 2005.
